As seen in TATLER! A milestone I never expected

We have been featured in Tatler’s February 2025 addition!

When Tatler got in touch and invited me to be featured, my stomach genuinely dropped. Not because it felt surreal (although it did), but because it took me straight back to the very beginning, when simply being trusted by a handful of couples to create their wedding flowers felt like more than enough.

I didn’t start this business with big accolades in mind. I started it because I just loved flowers! I wanted to create wedding flowers for down-to-earth couples that love nature and flowers just as much as I do, and that feel natural, characterful, and rooted in place… not styled to perfection, but allowed to be themselves.

To be recognised by a publication like Tatler feels incredibly humbling.

What Tatler had to say

The feature describes my work like this:

“Based in Yorkshire, Wild Sweet Pea creates perfectly imperfect, quietly wild wedding flowers. Rooted in a deep love for nature, British-grown flowers are at the heart of her designs. After your big day, she preserves and frames them, turning them into everlasting pieces of art.”

Pouring my heart into the details

I’ve always believed that good floral design isn’t about volume or excess. It’s about intention. About choosing stems with care. About letting flowers sit naturally and quietly, rather than forcing them into symmetry or repetition.

Every wedding I work on, no matter the scale, receives the same thought, care, and respect. I pour my heart into the quiet details: sourcing from local growers, thinking about the way each design moves, how colours sit together, how flowers should feel in the space. That level of care is invisible most of the time, but moments like this feel like a gentle acknowledgement of that work.

A huge thank you

I’m incredibly grateful to the wonderfully talented Joe Dodsworth Photography for capturing one of my favourite bouquets so thoughtfully. His attention to detail when capturing his couple’s wedding day is second to none, capturing not just how the day looks, but how it unfolds.

And of course, thank you to the couples who trust me with their weddings. This wouldn’t have happened without you. Your trust in my work is what makes milestones like this possible.

An amazing beginning to the year!

Being featured in Tatler feels like an amazing way to begin the year, and one I’m carrying with me as I step into the 2026 wedding season with a great level of energy, confidence and intention.

If you’re planning a wedding and are drawn to nature-led, characterful flowers that celebrate imperfection, I’d love to hear from you.
