The story behind
Wild Sweet Pea
I used to love spending time in the corners of my garden as a child, which felt like the most magical place that sparked so much imagination. Getting creative and experimenting with flowers started from a young age. I used to press flowers between pages and books and attempt to make perfume with them (and at one point even eye shadow…)
I don’t go a day without a dose of nature, and I always start the day with a walk with my dog, Archie. Nature makes me feel grounded, simplifies everything, and brings a sense of calm that flows directly into my work.
I’m drawn to authenticity in all forms. I love the spirit
of flowers in their natural form. I’m always pulled towards things that feel a little wild and perfectly imperfect.
Before flowers, I worked as a digital consultant, leading large-scale projects centred on user experience and solving complex problems. That background now shapes how I approach wedding flowers, blending creative design with a smooth, thoughtful client experience from first enquiry to setting up the flowers on your wedding day.
What I love most about weddings is the journey itself: getting to know you, shaping a shared vision, and watching it evolve into something that is entirely your own.
To extend that experience beyond the day, I also preserve wedding flowers as framed keepsakes, so they can be kept and enjoyed long after the celebration. It’s a process I first experimented with as a child, and it’s now become a meaningful part of Wild Sweet Pea.
