Wedding flowers North Yorkshire
So lovely to meet you!
Hello, I’m Leah. Founder of Wild Sweet Pea based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
I create delicate, quietly wild, natural wedding flowers for couples who love the simple beauty of nature. I trained at a leading flower school, where I learned every aspect of floristry.
I’m a lover of the perfectly imperfect stems. The ones with a bend, a twist, a story. I don’t do matching. I do meaning. Everything I gather has been chosen not because it’s perfect, but because it’s alive with character.
I don’t see flowers as decoration. I see them as a landscape. Nature doesn’t try to be beautiful, it just is. That’s what I’m chasing.
How the countryside has shaped me
The English countryside raised me. Or at least, shaped me. There’s a stillness in it I can’t explain, a quiet confidence and I design like that. Soft, delicate, yet impactful, and never unnoticed.
I’ve always believed one unforgettable design is more powerful than ten average ones. That’s how I dress, that’s how I live, and that’s how I design with flowers. I’d rather create one focal moment that holds the whole room than scatter forgettable florals just to fill a space.
My colours are muted and my work is wild. My process is slow-paced and full of care.
I use British-grown flowers grown without chemicals, chosen for their quirks, their movement, and their soul. I’ll ask the grower, “What’s weird today?” and build everything around that.
Bouquet preservation North Yorkshire
I believe you should be able to enjoy your bridal bouquet for longer than just one day. Alongside being a wedding florist, I offer wedding bouquet preservation, turning your bridal bouquet into an everlasting piece of art to keep long after the day is over.
